Giants bring in 2nd win on the road

Thursday April 3rd
Hudson and the Giants looked real good last night in their 2-0 shut out. We were surprised that Bochy let Tim come out for the 8th inning after more than 90 pitches in the first 7. After pitch 103 things still went well. Le Anne is learning to score and began scoring 3 innings. She had 2 knowledgeable scorers. Bert has been scoring since 1927 and Richard. Richard shared that he had been to over 250 stadiums including minor leagues. He shared secrets like the value dog for $1.50 on the 1st level of Chase stadium.

Romo did not provide any “heart attack threat” with a 1,2,3 ninth inning. Belt and Posey have things in stride, and Pence managed to squeak out a run, so both Le Anne and I think the Giants are looking good.

We met up with Le Anne’s cousin Marilyn and her husband for lunch at the Canyon cafe before the game. It was a great chance for the woman to catch up on all things family. They had no problem agreeing it was ok for Marilyn to be a D’Backs fans and Le Anne to support the Giants. We had homemade guacamole and a good Mexican meal.

After today’s game Bert and Le Anne will head to the Denton’s in Surprise, then off to LA for tomorrows opener there.
