Hence the desire to experience it. This, our 3rd trip, is a long 10 games, in 3 cities, with no day off in the two-week stretch, counting travel days. We are living it- and you know what? It can be very tiring, to be expected to be at your very best, every inch of the way. So to see these trained athletes, going through it all and the effect it has on them, is a learning experience.
Todays game showed, just what is involved. Our guys almost pulled it off. No wonder a 50-50 record on the road is considered good. Let’s see what results in the next 4 days-and let’s remember we are still over 500 and in 1st place.
And now for the ladies view, we met friends Kathy and James again at the park. We were in section 121, row A but moved to row B since there was water in the foot area. I would recommend row B or C because you didn’t have the rail obstructing the view. Kathy had recommended BRGR and I tried the Fire in the hole burger for $12.50. It has guacamole, jalapeno, pepper jack cheese, chipotle aioli, and siracha. They use a custom blend of beef on a brioche bun. I followed it with a dark chocolate shake for $9. It was an exceptional burger, which I wouldn’t have tried without insider information.
The mascot is called the Pirate Parrot. I was told people have recommended names for the mascot, but they have chosen to keep the simple name Pirate Parrot.
Fans in Pittsburgh are welcoming and PNC is rated number 1 for good reason.
